FELIWAY® FRIENDS Diffuser and Cartridge Synthetic Pheromone for Cats
COMPOSITION: In each 100 ml; It contains 2% cat calming pheromone analogue and enough isoparaffinic hydrocarbons to make 100 ml. It is a product in the form of a clear solution with a color ranging from colorless to light yellow.
PROPERTIES: Feliway Friends is a product used by the mother cat. It is a synthetic analogue of the cat calming pheromone that she naturally produces after giving birth to her kittens. This pheromone is released from the breast area and is detected from the environment through an area close to the nose. This pheromone has a strong soothing effect on kittens, helping to maintain the bond between kittens and their mothers. Cat calming pheromone has been shown to have the same bonding effect on adult cats living in multi-cat environments. Feliway® Friends is species specific and can only be detected by cats and has the same meaning for all cats. It has no calming effect on people or other animals in the home. Feliway® Friends is not a sedative or tranquilizer.
AREA OF USE: Feliway Friends helps more than one cat by reducing conflicts and tension between cats. It has been clinically proven to help people live in harmony in the same house. The product is considered the first drug-free solution to help multi-cat homes live in harmony. Feliway Friends has been proven to reduce the frequency and intensity of conflict and tension between multiple cats in the home. In some cases, additional behavioral disorder treatment and environmental changes may be necessary. In this case, advice should be sought from your veterinarian or behaviourist. Feliway® Friends can be used in addition to other behavior disorder treatments that your veterinarian or behaviorist may recommend, and can also be used with the Feliway® Classic product.
